General Conference

Twice a year the leaders of the Church speak to the members throughout the world via satelite and TV. So as we prepared for the Saturday and Sunday sessions of Conference we knew it would be tough with the kids. Anna and I try to listen to the speakers on TV while keeping the kids busy with games and treats. It did not go as well as planned. Somewhere between Liam playing his drum with the maracas and Grace being a cling-on I knew it was going to be tough. President Monson's words were perfect when he suggested that we take time to enjoy the journey of life. Life moves quickly. Soon all the finger prints on the windows, walls and just about everywhere will be gone and the kids will be busy with their own lives. So heres to enjoying the journey, maracas, drums and all.
