President Gordon B. Hinckley

President Gordon B. Hinckley died on Sunday January 27,2008. I wanted to officically say goodbye to President Hinckley. We will miss you.
He was called as President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1995, 3 years before Anna and I were married. He is the only prophet we have known our married life and Anna's time as a member. He played an important part in our married life. He was a great example of a husband, father and desciple of Jesus Christ. His humour, his optimism and his work ethic were remarkable. Most important for me was his ability to love everyone from all walks of life and make them feel respected and important. As President Hinckley encouraged so many times, may we all go forward with faith.
