Every year as Christmas time approaches I make good use of the threat to the kids that they had better be nice or they won't get any presents from Santa. The whole 'He knows if you have been naughty or nice' bit or even worse they might only get a lump of coal for Christmas.
So Grace was being naughty and so I told her if she did not start acting better that Santa would bring her a lump of coal for Christmas. Her response was 'that's OK Dad because it could be the first rock in my rock collection'.
She is too smart for me.
